ironikOvernight Ride Ride To Chansal Pass
#1
Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,

The summer heat is upon us and the only respite we have is to head north to the hill, where we feel the most comfortable. Uttarakhand or Himachal always remains one question that stays on our mind, considering this we decide the middle ground - Chansal Pass (12K feet). This will be camping trip and the plan is as below

Dates - 17th - 21st May
Day 1 (17th May) – Delhi to Chakrata/Kanasar - 335 kms
Day 2 (18th May) – Kanasar to Larot/Chansal Pass– 156/176 kms
Day 3  (19th May) –  Camp at Chansal – 0 kms
Day 4  (20th May) – Chansal  – Kotkhai – 99kms
Day 5 (21st May) - Kotkhai - Delhi 388Kms

Please note the following:

  • This ride is only for IBR Members and for their spouses.
  • The Itinerary is set and no deviation will be allowed unless absolutely necessary.
  • As this a camping trip, please carry your sleeping bags and tent, we have tents to accommodate 12 people. If you do not have a tent please tie up with someone who will be carrying their tents.
  • The riders should listen to the Group Leader and co-ordinators to avoid any confusion during the ride.
  • This is a self Sponsored ride so carry enough cash and avoid relying on ATM’s.
  • Full Mask Helmet, Armour Riding Jacket, Protective Gloves, Knee Guards and High Ankle Boots are a mandatory requirement for both rider and the pillion.
  • Bike must be serviced thoroughly, and tyres must have enough treads to sail through the entire journey. Pre ride inspection will be held on 7th May and will be a mandatory meet for all participants.
  • Everyone must carry their own set of tools and a minimum set of spares to cope up with the breakdowns.
  • Carry your own Poison.
  • The registration will be closed on 7th May’17 and we shall not be entertaining any requests after that. Any additions will be at the sole discretion of the Chapter heads/ Admins
Interested Participants, please list down your name
